I think this depends a lot upon table position, stack size, and how other players have been betting around the table. If I have a good stack, am in late position, and players are playing tight weak, and it is checked to me sometimes I'll make a bet say double or triple the BB. With loose players I'm not too inclined to do this and may just check and wait. But in general I think you have be good at reading the table to play hands like this. But it is not always an automatic fold. On the other hand if you can give yourself any reason to get out, then get out.
I don't like playing loose players, by the way ... I like playing tight weak players because I like to semibluff and hands like this are good for semibluffing, especially in SNGs when you are near the break. |

Check or fold - you're giving it away with a check, but it's not worth putting anything in the pot with nothing in hand.
Fold if you're raised, simple as that. It's not worth holding out for the turn or river, the odds aren't fantastic. |

Me, I'd fold if nothing came on the flop unless checks went around the table in front of me.
Nothing to call with, and the odds of hitting anything significant are slim, so I would get out of there. |

Unless checks are going around the table, I'd bow out. Nothing after the flop, your percentage chances of hitting anything reasonable are dropping rapidly and you currently have nothing in hand.
Not enough to go on, I'd fold. |

| yes it depends on what others have at the table and what the flop was if theres nothing major there i would then deceid on betting or checking and if others check then you might want to place a decent bet to steal the pot. |

| Unless it's cheap, I'd be out of there. There is no point in trying to string along on a bluff, you hit nothing on the turn or the river, then you could be made to look quite a fool should someone wish to take you all the way. |

| Indeed, you'll look very silly still in at the turn or the river with nothing in hand. Theres no harm in folding, and you will retain much more respect just dropping your hand than trying to stay in and not give it away that you called with very little in hand. |

If you have very specific conditions, you have some plays.
If the field is narrow (particularly from pre-flop raising), you can put your opponents on a hand like yours (AK, AQ, AJ, KQ, maybe a mid to strong pair so you with have to find out). So, if you are first to act and raised or called from early, you can semi-bluff by betting out with a probe bet (it may look like you have a pair or even tripped up if the board has 6, 7, 8, or 9 in there... and you still have 6 outs to hit your over pair). If you get raised, then you let it go.
Really, a sense of your opponent is important here. An aggressive opponent might have hit a weak board because he was playing aggressive with anything... Bet out and put pressure on him. See how he plays, he will attack if he has something, so you can decide what to do. A tight player likely missed this flop and will give you the pot if you bet. But if he plays back, means you have to let it go.
Of course, being in late position is desirable here. A check to you, demands a bet regardless if they are loose aggressive or tight. You can let it go if the come over the top. |
