Due to his pre-flop raise from the BB, you could have put him on Aces. So a re-raise here wouldn't be so bad... but it IS the river and you don't want to pay 3 bets JUST IN CASE he raised from the blind with QQ, JJ or AK of diamonds.

The play was fine, don't get greedy.

Good play, played it safe and didn't go too far in one hand.

Perhaps it was a little of both, safe play but done intelligently will get you the pots, not necesserily the big ones, but it will win you pots.

You definitley don't raise the river... maybe play back on the flop or turn to get info, but calling down is OK too. You are 3:1 to hit the full-house with 2 cards to come... so take a flop call of $0.50 + turn call for $1.00 = $1.50. If the pot with get to $4.50 aside from your $1.50 ($6.00 total) it is the correct play to call... Then one more bet to look him up has very good reverse implied odds - the worst, you lose one more $1 (the rest is already gone if you fold), and you stand to pick up $10)
